Daniel Sluyk, DDS (pronounced “S-like”) always knew that he wants to be in the medical field because he is driven by a deep desire to help people. As someone who is naturally artistic, he found that dentistry was the perfect blend of his passions, caring for others and being artistic. Dr. Sluyk is a Scottsdale native, and he feels honored to be able to help the people in the community that helped raise him.
Dr. Sluyk earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado, where he graduated #1 in his class. Today, he is proud to be back in Scottsdale and relishes the opportunity to give the people of his community beautiful smiles they want to share with others. Smile transformations are immensely rewarding for him, and he loves seeing how rewarding it is for his patients.
At his practice, he works hard to cultivate an environment that is welcoming and friendly to both his team and his patients. Patient experience is the ultimate goal of his efforts. When you walk through the doors, you won’t feel you just walked into a cookie cutter dental office.
Every smile is uniquely beautiful, and it is this distinctive new challenge that each smile design presents that fuels Dr. Sluyk’s vigor and passion for cosmetic dentistry. Each smile that he designs is individually created from scratch to ensure beautifully natural results.
Dentistry is a rapidly changing profession, and Dr. Sluyk is a lifelong student of the craft. He is consistently taking continuing education courses and staying up to date with technologies and techniques that will yield the best possible outcomes for his patients.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Sluyk is with his family, staying active, spending time outdoors, or drumming with his church. He speaks Spanish, and once a year he takes his team to Mexico to offer free dental care to those in need.
